Schedule and Fees

Schedule

Each of our 9-week course cycles begins every three months (January,April, July and October). Each term has a different time schedule. Lesson dates and times are set 7 to 8 weeks prior to each course's start date and are based on student demand.

For other levels, if available, the last day of the course sign-up is 2 weeks prior to the course commencement.
NOTE: Registrations are accepted on a first‐come, first‐serve basis. Sign up ahead of time and pay upfront to receive priority placement in the course of your choice.

Japanese can be challenging, but our experienced teachers use unique techniques to make learning Japanese simple, logical and systematic. This course builds core skills in a fun atmosphere! From Survival Japanese to Daily Conversation, simple is the best! By the end of the term, we will have covered the foundation of the JLPT N5 level.

Stage 2
9 lessons Day Time (95min.) Period
This stage consists of three levels- level 5 through 7, covering up to the beginning of JLPT N4. It builds upon your core skills and enables you to converse more naturally with increased vocabulary and expressions, based on your grammar knowledge learned in Stage 1. A culturally interactive and conversational course for learning daily conversation skills, including reading and writing.

Stage 3
9 lessons Day Time  Period
While Japanese grammar can be challenging, our course ensures an enjoyable learning experience! Stage 3 covers Core (Levels 8-10), Plus (Levels 11-13), and Advanced (Levels 14-16) for the JLPT N4 level. Core establishes essential N4 grammar for effective communication. Plus focuses on practical expression, listening, and cultural exploration. Advanced refines proficiency, explores nuances, strengthens reading, bridging to Stage 4 (N3/B1).

Stage 4
9 lessons Day Time Period

This stage consists of 10 levels covering JLPT N3 grammar while offering integrated studies in vocabulary building, reading, listening exercises, and discussions. Additionally, exploring Japanese culture and travel topics, along with conducting research and presentations, deepens your cultural insight.

  • Core course: Aitas Original Textbook, Flash Cards, materials ($30 per course)

Total Fees

  • Group Class Total is $530.00 plus HST (Tuition $450, One-Time Registration Fee $50, Materials $30)
  • *Register 5 weeks in advance and pay only $30 for your registration fee.

Important Notes

We accept payment via cheque, cash, Interac (debit card), Visa, Master Card, money order, online transfer or bank transfer.

  • All fees are in Canadian dollars.
  • Students are only required to pay this registration fee upon sign up for their first course. The registration fee is waived for all continuing students.
  • Aitas Japanese Immersion School is certified as an educational institution approved by Minister of the Human Resources and Social Development Canada, which means that you may be eligible to receive a tax credit for your course tuition payments. Click here for more information.

Once you become an Aitas student, you are entitled to many gifts and valued privileges from us that will make your learning experience even better! We enjoy welcoming new students with practical gifts and Aitas special privileges are extended to students at all levels, in an effort to show you our continued support for your Japanese education. Aitas also offers its students culture classes they can take part in (optional), and students Level 2 and higher can participate in our monthly Japanese Conversation Club to improve their communication skills.

Optimal Learning Environment

To maintain engagement and ensure a quality learning environment, our online classes have a maximum class size of 10 students. Once the maximum number is reached, applications will no longer be accepted. We begin accepting applications 2 months prior to each course's start date. Since registrations are finalized on a first-come, first-serve basis, if you make the full payment for the course fee upfront you will receive priority placement in the course of your choice.
